As a Kindergarten teacher, I share with parents the responsibility for teaching their child. I believe that each child has unique strengths, varied learning experiences, and different learning styles. It is important to me to provide and encourage a safe and caring environment in order for the children to develop and grow as individuals. I believe it is important to develop a love and proficiency for the 3 basics of Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic by the end of their first grade year. I want to foster critical thinking skills in all my students, so I focus on giving students questions, not answers, so students learn through self-discovery.
