Parent Involvement
Parents of Presentation Students (POPS)
POPS supports Presentation of Mary School through fundraising, volunteerism, promotions, and development resulting in the best Catholic education that we can provide for our children. We establish a calendar budget, list of activities to support, and a yearly tangible goal benefiting the Presentation student body.
Meetings: POPS holds bi-monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month.
Membership: POPS membership is open to parents/guardians and faculty of Presentation of Mary School. This organization strongly encourages and highly recommends active participation to ensure successful endeavors. Time spent volunteering for fund raisers and spirit events counts towards your volunteer hour requirement.
POPS Fundraisers: Marathon for Catholic Education, Pres Dollar Sales, and collection of Box Tops for Education, Kemp’s and Land O’ Lakes milk caps.
All money raised goes directly back to the school. The majority of fund raising is given to the church for school operating funds, other uses for funds raised include:
- Field trips
- Classroom start up expenses
- Spirit events (bonfire, ice skating, Halloween party, etc.)
- End of year teacher breakfast
